After returning from Costa Rica I went on a hut trip with lots of friends for some backcountry snowboarding near Breckenridge. There were 23 of us who rented out Francie's Cabin for the weekend which sits at 11,264 ft. After splitboarding/skiing in with all the gear, food, and booze that we needed for the weekend, we snowboarded/skied for 2 days on the peaks surrounding the cabin. Day 1 we did Crystal Peak which tops out at 13,852 ft., and the weather was perfect which made for perfect spring snow
